Looks like the VCs see a big opportunity in clean technology, especially in India ($500 mil investment fund just for clean tech in India):

European group is surpassing Moore’s Law by packing more functions on a single chip:

Tom Tom just raised its offer to top Garmin’s bid for Tele Atlas. Tom Tom’s offer ($3.57 bil) is now 41% higher than their offer in July, and the stock price is actually 7% above the latest bid because the market expects Garmin to top Tom Tom’s bid. This is going to get pricy! The stock is already 81% above where it was before Tom Tom’s first bid in July.

Qualcomm had a 24.43% increase in net income this past quarter, according to a report:
